Tom Smith received a PhD in social foundations from the University of South Carolina in 1992. Prior to his graduate study, Tom was a public school teacher in Indiana and South Carolina. Since coming to North Carolina A&T State University in January 1993, Tom has taught undergraduate and graduate foundations courses.
