Peter DiLorenzo is an assistant professor of physical education at Floyd College in Rome, Georgia. He earned a bachelor's degree in health and sport science at the University of Richmond (Virginia) and a master's of education in physical education at Temple University in Pennsylvania. He is a member of four professional organizations: the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (AAHPERD); the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA); the National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE); and the American Alliance for Active Lifestyles and Fitness (AAALF).

DiLorenzo's interests include various training methods, the physiology of exercise, strength and conditioning research, baseball, basketball, computer applications, Internet research, and Italian cooking.
