Peshe C. Kuriloff
Director of the Mellon Writing Project
University of Pennsylvania
Peshe C. Kuriloff regularly teaches advanced writing courses face-to-face and has begun teaching creative non-fiction writing online. She also works as a writing coach and communications consultant and has authored a book about writing and numerous articles, including a recent piece of commentary in the Chronicle of Higher Education, which looks at teaching with technology through the eyes of educational theorist John Dewey. Her research is focused on creating and evaluating new, electronic pedagogy.

For 15 years, Kuriloff directed Writing Across the University, an extensive writing across the curriculum program, at Penn. She regards electronic writing instruction as the logical extension of writing across the curriculum, distributing writing instruction to students when and where they most need it.

Kuriloff regularly teaches advanced writing courses face-to-face, and this summer for the first time, is teaching creative non-fiction writing online.
