Linda K. Enghagen is an attorney and associate professor at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She has taught in a distance education environment since 1984. One of her interests is copyright issues in higher education. She has lectured for groups such as the National Education Association, for whom she recently edited a book entitled Technology and Higher Education: Approaching the 21st Century. In addition, her interest in fair use issues led her to develop a compilation of existing guidelines under the title Fair Use Guidelines for Educators. Her most recent publication is a pamphlet entitled Educators, Technology, and the Law—Common Questions/Direct Answers. These publications are available through Sterling Publications.
