Jan Scholl, an associate professor of Agricultural and Extension Education at Penn State University, has over 25 years of experience with Cooperative Extension in Montana, Wyoming, and Pennsylvania. She develops curricula for nonformal youth programs and has served on many national curriculum development committees. Her materials have not only been refereed, but have received numerous national awards.

Scholl has published widely on subjects of curriculum development and has presented workshops throughout the U.S. and in Norway, Austria, Russia, and Poland. In 1999, she spent a month in Bolivia developing a Workforce Education curriculum for the Save the Children program.

Scholl also conducts a state-wide program for 4-H members, much of it on a Web site (see text of article for URL) enrolled in family living related projects. Her BS degree is from the University of Idaho and her master's and PhD are from Iowa State University.
