As a lead learning technologist for CVS Pharmacy, Eric Adams is constantly working to leverage technologies for desired learning and business outcomes. The cultivation of online communities serves as the cornerstone of many distance learning and leading solutions he deploys at CVS.

Adams' passion for using learning technologies to scaffold online communities was ignited by membership in Pepperdine University's educational technology program, where he currently is a doctoral candidate. This cutting-edge program uses 60% face-to-face and 40% online delivery to blend both "brick" and "click" university community membership.

Adams has more than 5 years of experience as a teacher and corporate trainer; 3 years of experience in technology-based training for teachers as the technology coordinator for the Diocese of Monterey (CA); and a breadth of experience in developing training materials on video, the Web, CD-ROM, and in print. His professional career path has allowed him to develop and deliver each of these methodologies in educational environments in the US (ranging from the New York City Public School System to private schools and educational organizations) and in Shanghai, China, and Hiroshima, Japan.
