Diane Chapman
Visiting Assistant Professor

Diane Chapman is a visiting assistant professor in the Training and Development program at North Carolina State University. She was formerly the coordinator for online instruction at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Public Health. She has a background in business and industry with more than 15 years experience in training and development.

In addition to instructing online and face-to-face courses for NC State, Chapman acts as cohort coordinator for the T&D Online program, which offers a distance-based masters degree in educational training and development. Her professional experience includes managing the training function in private industry and certification testing. Her current research interests include the design, development, use, and storage of learning objects, and instructional design models for online learning.
