Dee Ann Holisky

Dee Ann Holisky is associate dean for academic programs in the College of Arts and Sciences at George Mason University. Along with Anne Agee, she developed the Technology Across the Curriculum Program (TAC), which received the 2001 EDUCAUSE Award for Systemic Progress in Teaching and Learning. Holisky and Agee's article on the TAC program was named the 2001 EDUCAUSE Quarterly Contribution of the Year.

A faculty member at George Mason since 1980, Holisky is an associate professor of linguistics and a past director of linguistics programs. Her research specialty is languages of the Caucasus, and in addition to articles on the TAC program, she has published on Georgian, Tsova-Tush, English grammar for ESL teachers, and vocabulary for ESL students. She earned her doctorate in linguistics from the University of Chicago.
