David McCurry

David McCurry has worked in educational media and technology, educational development, and teacher preparation in the United States and Africa for the past 20 years. He earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 1980. From 1981 through 1983, he was a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in The Gambia, West Africa, with his wife, Bonnie Mullinix.

McCurry earned a master's degree and doctorate in international education from the Center for International Education at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. His current research explores the development of multimedia case studies as they relate to new teachers, older practicing teachers, and university faculty members engaged in critical dialogue about schools, society, and education.
