Brenda Stutsky is the director of specialty programs at the Health Sciences Centre (HSC) in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and holds an appointment as an assistant professor within the faculty of nursing at the University of Manitoba. Stutsky holds a masters in nursing from the University of Western Ontario, a bachelors in nursing from the University of Manitoba, a diploma in nursing, and a certificate in intensive care nursing.

Within the largest tertiary hospital in the province, Stutsky has been the administrator of post-basic critical care nursing education programs since 1993. Recently, she has become responsible for all nursing education at the HSC, and is leading a team of more than 100 nurses in the development of a Centre-Wide Nursing Education Program that encompasses all nursing specialty streams and is being built on a core curriculum concept model. Stutsky's vision for nursing education at HSC is that all components of the Centre-Wide Nursing Education Program will be available in an on-line format.
